Quality & Endurance Inc. has been successful in providing the following services; aerospace repairs/repainting, manufacturing electronic enclosures, custom design and fabrication of fiberglass products, structural and cosmetic marine repair with special emphasis on fair pricing, quality and exceeding customer satisfaction.

We emphasize the capabilities of developing a given concept on paper, whether it is sketches or military specification drawings, and being able to complete the conceptual design from paper to a finished product. We are an approved supplier with Antenna Design and Manufacturing Company, located in Jessup Maryland, who is responsible for manufacturing ease dropping, surveillance, navigation, and countermeasures microwave equipment for the military. This company also provides commercial news-gathering and broadcasting electronic equipment, for which we design and fabricate fiberglass radome enclosures processed to close tolerances.

Recently we have expanded the operation of custom design and fabrication to the marine industry with the production of unique themed paddleboats, to be marketed nationally and internationally. A sea serpent paddleboat, was originated from a sketch, designed and fabricated for the Living Classroom Foundation of Baltimore. It is currently being displayed and rented to the public at the Inner Harbor of Baltimore, MD.

The Sea Serpent paddleboats were such an attractive addition to the inner harbor, that the Living Classroom Foundation sponsored a Sea Serpent paddleboat race during this year’s preakness week. The Sea Serpent paddleboat race will now become an official event during future annual preakness celebrations. With this type of success the Living Classroom Foundation has decided to move forward on negotiations to purchase additional Sea Serpent paddleboats plus they are entertaining the idea of a new design for next spring.

The Maryland Science Center contacted us last year to assist with the development of their currant Titanic display. They required a fiberglass coating to their sculptured foam panels without losing any detail. Other contractors they contacted said it couldn’t be done. We experimented and finally developed a special coating process that maintained all details and was strong enough to withstand shipping to other science centers across the United States. The completed modular is currently at the Science Center here in Baltimore.

In the manufacturing / sale of exotic paddleboats the distinguishing difference from our competitors is the unique niche of gracious life-like lines, which primarily attract the younger generation while the more mature audiences, are attracted with the sense of security by having the body of the paddleboats provide a barrier between them and the water.

With the marine repair side of our business we are best known in the local area for quality, completeness, and satisfied customers. Local advertisements were only purchased the first active year of operation. During the second year of operation we participated in Timonium boat show from which the Living Classroom Foundation initially contacted us. Since then all business has been generated by word of mouth, repeat customers and customer referrals.

Our large heated marine repair facility accessible by land or water, can accommodate boats up to 45’ in length, is another factor, which differentiates us from our competition in this local area, for marine repair

The vast technical knowledge and experience of Roger Hollenbaughs’ background in composite (fiberglass) engineering, manufacturing / repair, process control, and documentation of procedures, helps to assure quality control with repeatability. This knowledge is applied constantly to reduce cost of goods sold, while improving quality and manufacturing processes. Having the capability of taking a conceptual theme design from paper to a finished product and low overhead allows us to compete with competitive sources.
